Nuno Canavarro Lisbon, Portugal
Portuguese composer Canavarro was for many years a figure of mystery and inspiration to a generation of postmodern electronic musicians due to his enigmatic invocations on 1988’s Plux Quba. In ‘99, Jim O'Rourke reissued it on his Moikai label; Drag City has since carried the flag for this singular recording.
